Been going here about a year and they are quite good. I'm very impressed with how knowledgeable the healer is I've been working with. He seems to holistically understand the human body better than any other doctor, nutritionist, etc. I've ever worked with over 20+ years. Plus he has outstanding customer service. Occasionally there might be an administrative hiccup, but he and his staff are so professional and kind it's impossible to feel bothered.

Their pricing system is, frankly, admirable. They should win an award for being socially and ethically responsible. From my perspective, they are offsetting the bad practitioners out there and balancing the world.

My sessions with Michael have changed my life. I won't go into the specifics, because they are personal, but I can say that he found a remedy that I was comfortable with and that worked, when my other doctors were baffled and willing to try extreme treatments that didn't guarantee a cure. There is no way I could afford this level of care anywhere else. Their sliding scale fee has been as life saving now as it was when I first began going and I have never once been asked to justify the amount I pay. You pay what you can afford within the scale so that you can continue to come back regularly which is how acupuncture's process really thrives.

Over the years I have gone to Brooke for countless reasons; menstrual issues, depression, anxiety, pinched nerves, severe back pain and most recently, help with fertility. Without fail she has helped me tremendously. She has also worked with me by going the extra mile to order lab work so that supplements and herbs could be specifically prescribed based on bloodwork results as well as my visits. At times she has even consulted with other specialists to make sure she could give me as much information as possible to approach treatment holistically. UFWC is a jewel in the desert of overpriced and underserving healthcare options in LA.
